Because it was animated to look realistic even though Lupin is generally a cartoony and whimsical series. There just wasn’t anything fun about it. (And it’s kinda low-key out of character for both of them to want to just beat the other up like that.)

I haven't watched this yet but I'm laughing at the fact that literally the next day after that was uploaded, Disney revealed this Olaf animatronic that I can only imagine coming with a myriad of issues when used in a crowded theme park.

The bosses are the way they are because the game is designed to be played with four players and they wanted to make sure they took longer than ten seconds.
In single player, this can be miserable.
In multi player, it's still miserable because who thought a multi player Sonic game was a good idea?

The first two games had other TMNT characters besides the Turtles themselves and if the leak is real, so will the third game. My guess is they're being cautious on trying not to create a Fire Emblem situation by having all four of them and potentially bloating the roster.

He probably should’ve been a direct antagonist to the avatar character if they aren’t doing anything with him again anyway.

They could’ve had him not be attracted to her and instead make it a plot about him learning to respect women. The romance wasn’t that pivotal to the story.
