I would have cleaned this up a bit, but I'm gonna be honest, I literally have a whole sequence planned between these two now that I'm want to draw instead lskdjflsjdkfh

"It's always really funny to listen to the sound of him breathing when he stretches out like this; a deep breath is suddenly something that takes two whole minutes to complete"

I guess in summary, it's fun to me because it's so unbelievably strange and unusual and it's somehow just extremely fun to draw, like you can just doodle whatever anatomy you want and characters being happy with each other, it's just really nice lsdkjhljsdk

Outside of that, it's a few other things!
- I just love things that are overwhelmingly bizarre so a character happily stretching their torso out for no reason is SO CUTE TO ME
- There are so many variations!! I've doodled elongated necks, torso, limbs and even weird stuff like fingers and muzzles

I have a few other examples of this! Panthuar (pic 1) specifically prefers macro forms so that they can caress the mountains, and the more limbs Varaxus has (pic 2), the more contented he feels.

I've always had such a hard time describing it since it's like so many small things, but to try and summarize it into a few key points: I love the idea of characters finding comfort in forms that are otherwise extremely bizarre and nonsensical. It's the casual acceptance of something impossible

okay since it seems like people are having fun with it, I'll quickly share some of the weirder long mal typh doodles I did since I did multiple today lsdkjfhlsdkjfh

Aaaaaah this is like the sweetest thing ever, thank you!!

yes i still draw elongation i actually never stopped doodling it and it's just really fun to draw and i still feel like it's the weirdest thing ever and it's so embarrassing but it being weird and embarrassing is exactly what makes it fun to draw and it's just really fun to explore poses and and and

This is like so infinitely fascinating to me, both because the change between each iteration feels so subtle yet so tangible, but also because I can see like the exact stage that I drew that fanart I did of them way back in the day! This is such a neat thing to be able to capture!!
