While you'd think he'd have an affinity for night, there's nothing really stopping wereguar from appearing in broad daylight

It is very funny to me that I've only drawn like a very small handful of guarian pics over the past few years, and then suddenly, my love of guarians has been reignited by snowluar, a guarian I haven't drawn once in the three years since I originally created him

I'm a little sad they're all only busts though; a core design trait of exkin is that they all have obnoxiously huge tails, to the point that they're genuinely inconvenient (which they don't mind at all and are 100% used to). Would have been fun to design for the others BUT OH WELL, some day :)

Honestly, I really recommend trying out the whole species swap thing, even if it's just a little doodling. It's so fascinating, you learn a surprising amount about what's core to your species, what's core to a character's design and which takes priority over the other when the two are conflicting.
