We’re not interested in games looking “hyper-realistic”

We’re interested in them being fun to play, cheap enough to actually buy on a regular salary, and not so large that the console can only store 7 at a time

I've been trying out Kenshi lately because it was discounted. 30 hours in, and this is probably the best game I've ever played.

It took me an hour and a half to try to solve a bug in unity where the local volumetric fog doesn't want to render. And it turnout to be that I have to just tick a checkbox and put a ridiculous number in it. I love game dev.

I got assigned as an environment design on a group project recently. Honestly, I've never drawn any scenery before, and it's quite hard for me. First time for everything, I guess. Gotta do my best.

EVIL GAMEDEV ADVICE: expand the scope. more items. your first game should be a 40 hour rpg. dont forget to expand the scope. don't ask for help. create a discord server. there should be 63 unique classes in your rpg. no fishing game. don't forget to expand the scope.
