This year has been a doozy. Professionally, I've been fired, re-hired, villainized, shot at, and furloughed. But, I'm still standing...for now. Hoping for some normalcy and calm in 2026.

I'm still moving in, but I've started an antiques booth in a new, closer location. Its a touch smaller, but still focusing on comics, cards, and toys. I'm really pleased with how the booth looks, especially the row of trading cards in the case--takes me back! What do you think so far?

The internet must know I have a fine taste for t-shirts because I keep getting served an ad for this amazing entry in the medium:

Talk about a shirt that goes hard. LOL

Check out this Windows 95 iPhone I saw on Reddit! (u/buffaloprocess)

Impractical case? Sure. Cool as Hell? Yep.

The tabletop gaming convention I run is going pretty hard for a Friday night! This is Dice + Diversions 2nd year. I'll try and post more pics this weekend, but I get busy and forget.

Made a rare trip to Wal-Mart last night and was greeted with the return of Mad Balls...with...HAIR??! Price checked for only $5.27, but didn't feel the need to pick one up.

"Later, dudes. Let 'er rip. Hang 10! WHOAAAaaaah!!!"

Alright, it's getting serious. Pulling out this '70s era double decker orange bad boy!

Still coming down! Time to bring out the sleds!

Not so sure about the snow.

It's snowing in NE Georgia! Being a kid from Chicago, it does my heart wonders to get a blanket of snow in the South. Here's a view from my front door. Still coming down!

I'm in love with this person on Reddit who maintains a late '70s/early '80s aesthetic in their home. It looks so cozy! Love the attention to detail. Beyond the wood paneled walls: Black&Decker coffee pot, yarn quilt, shag carpeting. www.reddit.com/r/HomeDecora...

Scored a pretty epic '90s comic collection from the original owner today. Like reliving my childhood.

Cool. Stern Pinball just announced their first game for 2025: 'Dungeons & Dragons: The Tyrant's Eye.' Comes with a fire-breathing (read: pinball-shooting) dragon voice by Michael Dorn. Looks rad.

I met my (what I consider) modest, but respectable goal of reading 30 books this year. I'm a tough critic, and while I enjoyed most of the books I read, only three earned 5/5 stars for me on GoodReads. I highly recommend The Anthropocene Reviewed, New Teeth, & 60 Songs That Explain the '90s.

My daughter knows me so well. Behold, the most glorious gift: a "I got that dog in me" t-shirt. #GlizzUp

A Christmas classic.

Watched the new movie Y2K in the theater last night. It had it's moments and had the potential to be great, but it just...wasn't. I can't put my finger on it, but I had such high hopes for it after seeing it was shocked it got a theatrical release. Still...glad it exists! Worth checking out.

The explosion of content on streaming can mean that even REALLY good stuff can get buried or easily forgotten with the next new thing. I'm here today to remind you that 8-Bit Christmas is amazing. Hilarious and heartfelt, it's a perfect Christmas movie even if you weren't an '80s kid.

Oh, and did I forget to mention they have the BEST MEAT IN TOWN?!

When I want to feel nostalgic I just drive a couple miles down the road to a supermarket stuck in the '90s. Never renovated and still boasting neon lights, glass bricks, and more this Beanie Babies display in the floral section is peak.

Played some great games, but my favorite was this brand new one called Tower Up. Easy-to-Learn rules with multiple scoring goals. Really fun...be on the lookout.

In all seriousness, I've been to the big 3 tabletop conventions now (GenCon, Origins, PAX), and out of those three I like Origins the best. PAX and GenCon just seem like a big exhibitor showcase with less of a focus on playing and events. But again...too big!
