Think before you plant. These once tiny bushes would have inevitably compromised our foundation and the sidewalk.
Will the root system be invasive? Will the mature plant be an appropriate size? Is the plant going to “bite” you?

Don’t be quick to pull everything out of your garden just because it looks “dead.“ Flower heads are a wonderful food source for the bees and other pollinators at the end of the season. #Fall #GardenCleanup #Pollinators #Bees

Making a squash arch is simple, except transporting the kettle panels to your house. I will try to find the tutorial I did on transporting them. You WILL need a pick up truck for this.  kettle panels measure 50“ x 16‘ long.

Here in the US, we tend to throw away a lot more of a plant than most other countries.

July 2017. This spaghetti squash grew in 2 sq ft of Mel‘s mix growing medium that was just 8 inches deep. The vine was almost 28 feet long. And yes, medium size squash can grow on a squash arch without support.
