MFF was great this year. Made a new friend, hopefully I stay talking to this one longer than the last one. Lots of volunteering, Got to know the staff (they want me to apply next year!!) I also won some beautiful art at the auction!

Got my hotel for MFF and BLFC locked down finally. These two conventions always wrap up the year enough to keep the seasonal depression away.

My deepest take, a rather new one, is that the specialization of modern society both creates and requires ignorance of... a lot.
It is impossible to know all the things, which means there's value in individuals knowing a lot about some things, and those individuals exploit knowledge gaps.

Idk what it is, but ever since 2020, it’s so hard for me to socialize with people. Idk if it’s long COVID or what but there’s this constant fog over me and I struggle just to have the energy to talk to people, and I feel like all I do is sit there in their presence. I want to fix it but idk how.
