#StarTrek #StrangeNewWorlds this week was more than I could have asked for in an Ortegas story. The range of emotions, the nod to TOS…so much to say.
The last 5 was not my favorite but I also didn’t hate the ending.
My one issue: it felt more time passed on the moon than on the ship.

I’ve been a #StarTrek fan since my mom introduced me to #TOS when I was no more than 8.
The hate I see on the Facebook page for SNW is mind boggling.
I see a lot of gatekeeper fans that really do not understand the concept of #IDIC which is the heart of Roddenberry’s universe.

From what I’ve seen, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I liked #StarTrek #SNW “What is Starfleet?”
I like it for its differences from the norm. I like the concept and getting to see a different side of the characters that might have been challenging within the typical format.

I read an article on how to save #StarTrek #SNW but it lost me when the writer stated “we all hated Discovery”.
Speak for yourself, sir. I loved it. It seems the writer wants to follow previous Star Trek formulas. But I believe SNW honors Roddenberry’s vision with fresh ideas.

Realization: my ex, through her actions, said she did not want me.
I did not read those actions for what they were & denied reality to hold on to a fantasy. This came back & bit me in the arse. I’m still dealing with the fallout.
