I fear that I've slipped through to an alternate reality.

I suppose that Bluesky is an appropriate place to air my concern.

Extraordinary kitchen and dining equipment suggestion from Amazon - presumably cannibalising some other marketing channel?

It's very convenient of the heavens to arrange an astronomical event which I can photograph at a convenient time, in my own garden, with gear that I happen to have lying around. This is a very rare and precious thing.

I've just noticed that one of the pints of milk from our milkman is of a different colour to all the others. What could this mean? Should I be concerned? Do I need this philosophical angst first thing in the morning?

Our plans for a circular walk along each bank of the Thames were kyboshed when high water made the path impassable. We passed a good place for a shag, though.

I'd like to submit this photo, which I've titled "Mickey Mouse Lemur" as #APSmartphonePicoftheWeek. It's #accidental #latteart, but I still believe it qualifies as a candidate 🙂

Time for my favourite Christmas image, from, I think, a Hull shopping centre doing its decorations, and devastatingly captioned by LADBible

I'm not quite sure I understand the thinking behind this advertising placement

Spotted the other day as we walked to the shops. What's the collective noun for coots? A Madness? How about A Bank of Coots?

I'm on my first #skiing holiday for 18 years. Here are my thoughts on what it's like to get back on the slopes after such a long gap. swpics.co.uk/2024/01/15/t...

If all goes according to plan, I will be going #skiing in a week's time. So what? you might reasonably ask. 1) it's 18 years since the last time I "graced" the slopes. 2) I'm going back to the resort where I first went skiing, 44 years ago. So I'm quite excited by the whole idea.

#shrinkflation at work at Marmite. Now I know why I couldn't find Marmite cheddar bites in the shops lately.

I've tried for over a month to make myself like coffee without sugar. I hereby declare the attempt to be a failure. I realise I'm reducing its health benefits by adding sugar, but at least I can back to enjoying my coffee rather than merely tolerating it.
