I have texted at least eighty different people the above information in group chats and individual messages in less than an hour.

My form of resistance: spreading helpful verified information and resources.

Know your rights. Educate, make fliers. If you interact with ice agents at work 1) ask if you are free to leave. If so, you may calmly walk out. 2) you have the right to refuse consent to a search. 3) you have the right to remain silent. You do not have to discuss your immigration status with anyone such as where you were born, whether you are a citizen, or how you entered the country. 4) if you have valid immigration documents, you should show them. Never provide fake documents. 5) if you are arrested, say that you wish to remain silent until speaking with a lawyer. 6) you have the right to record your interaction with immigration agents as long as you do not interfere. Support our scared Columbus neighbors. Rays are surging across the city. Give so resources can be dropped off to families to help keep them out of harm's Way. Scan and give: there is a QR code. There is also the logo for the community refugee and immigration services. Know your rights when interacting with ice. You have the right to remain silent. If you wish to exercise that right. Say so out loud. You do not have to discuss your immigration or citizen status with police, immigration agents or other officials. Anything you tell an officer can be later used against you in immigration Court. If you are not a US citizen and an immigration agent, request your immigration papers. You must show them if you have them with you. You have the right to deny an immigration agent. If they ask to search you. Agents do not have the right to search you or your belongings without your consent or probable cause. If you're over 18, Carry your papers with you at all times.
