Can someone please stop Hakeem Jeffries. This man has so much anti-rizz that he is a menace.

Oh my God Democrats are NATO but for civil rights
Popular or not Dems cannot bend on the need for trans people to be treated with basic humanity and respect. If we give up that because the right made trans people unpopular, we give up everything. They’ll dice us group by group like a salami. We die on this hill or we die alone in a ditch

Every Democrat who voted for the Laken Riley Act is a coward. There is no excuse for such a barbaric piece of legislation. There is no excuse for extra-judicial punishment on this scale. We don't win points with the public by being just as morally reprehensible as Republicans. Fuck this.

The United States is recharging for the new year
Watch: Lightning hit the U.S. Capitol at 5:36 pm, simultaneously to - or a few seconds after - lightning hit the Washington Monument. Happy New Year. @capitalweather.bsky.social @stormhour.bsky.social @arlnow.bsky.social

JD Vance is wrong again.

Free trade build the American middle class.

Protectionism will destroy it.

This is not what he said. No one, literally no one, benefits from outright lies, especially not trans ppl.

Trump did not say he was going to ban GAC. Can more ppl please call this shit out?
At Turning Point AmFest, Trump promises on day one to go after trans people with executive orders, banning trans people from the military, banning gender affirming care, and removing trans people from schools.

I've been saying it and I will keep saying it: Trump part 2 is just Teddy Roosevelt part 3.

Bernie should be ashamed of himself for saying this.
Bernie Sanders: "We are moving rapidly into an oligarchic form of society ... we can't go around the world saying, 'in Russia Putin has an oligarchy.' Well we got an oligarchy here too."

Have we considered that maybe bad times create worse times and good times create better times?

This is unironically a really good article that makes points I would like for the left to address as they continue to worship a murderer.
You don't have enough contempt for the New York Times.

Seeing these fucks defend the murder of a CEO is making it really settle in for me how hard it was for our ancestors to secure private property rights

ppl really do buy the argument that if someone dies bc a person doesn't give them something then that is equal to murder

Horrifying

I need health insurance CEOs to exist otherwise my access to gender affirming care would be threatened by politicization from their replacement administrators in govt.

You cannot be pro CEO murder and pro trans healthcare.

Blaming insurance companies for the cost of medical care is like blaming Wal-Mart for raising prices when the president imposes tariffs.

Right... X made me forget how insane the left is because I was too busy paying attention to how insane the right is.

idk guys I feel like y'all are sleeping on "being afraid of the consequences of the breakdown of the social order"

This is nothing but a pro-murder argument.
At some point it feels like an action like this was bound to happen because these companies have been so predatory, so callous and so cruel.

Stop celebrating the deaths of billionaires. Ideology cannot blind us to the reality that our society consists of human beings. Property rights are actually human rights.

This is the political message that Democrats need
November 28, 2024 at 11:43 AM
We liberals desperately need to come up with arguments for free trade that resonate with the American public.

If anyone has ideas on how to do this, please let me know!

The only (recent) polling I could find suggests 55% of Americans favor Trump's tariff proposals (back when the plan was a 10% tariff on all goods).

Do Americans even know what tariffs are? I cannot find any data on this.

How did this policy get popular???
