I speak with zero knowledge of this, but had always assumed this was a case of "Have costumes, use costumes.".

It's your feed, so your rules, so block anyone or thing that you think might offend.
I tend to give the benefit of doubt first, and only block if something is directly offensive to me - passed misdemeanours shouldn't automatically rule out fruitful future posts. All on a sliding scale though.

As in ASL and BSL, and about me personally, then no I don't, but I really should learn some.
If you are asking about sign language in general then yes, sign language, like body language is read.
I fear even my comprehension of body language is poor, judging by some interactions in pubs.
