Oh my goodness. I love this. I love love love snow. I can feel the snow falling in this photo. And coincidentally, this pic was posted on my 50th birthday. I am at one with this photo.

Wheeljack and Jackson Pollock would be quite the team. Chaos and genius in motion.

Wheeljack rigs a contraption to fling paint across a 200-foot canvas, muttering, “Trust me, it won’t explode,” while Pollock steps over sparking wires saying, “Perfect. More energy.”

I made another jellyfish post just for you bsky.app/profile/spud...
I did a search in my Google Photos for "jellyfish" hoping it would give me a result that is not a jellyfish, but something that looks like a jellyfish.

It did not disappoint.

Here is a very underexposed image of an Art Institute of Chicago lion wearing a Cubs hat in 2016.

Have you ever counted the stars on your American flag to make sure there are 50?

Today I took a photo of my flag, specifically for my post about the flag having 50 stars. I figured I’d count them. Lo and behold, the image showed just 49 (one star was hiding in a fold). Here's the 49-star image.

I have a fun story about Shota Imanga, about why he's a fav in our house. I don't have it published online. I just emailed it to you. :)

Here's a sneak preview image:

Thank you! It's funny that the post about a camera that shoots photos like it’s 2003 (because my blog started in 2001). Complete coincidence. Today I was looking up how many posts I've published.

Oh, good question! I think the Village takes care of cleaning out anything invasive. About 15 years ago, the woods used to be a swamp, they did a study and installed all these pipes to help drain it out. So I think they have an investment in it.

Oh wow. Yeah, I remember those now. The buggy seems really familiar. I see they sell for $15-$20 on eBay. I might get one. Thanks for the tip!

This comparison screenshot of CMYK-to-RGB black and True RGB black... reminds me of Josef Albers' paintings

I call the left version "#231F20 vs #000000" Matt Maldre, 2015

Right version is "Midnight + Noon II" Josef Albers, 1964

Those tiny yellow Transformers (not Bumblebee, but the other two). They look familiar, but I can't recall what they come from.
