Johnathan Joss died a hero. He was murdered for being gay, he went out protecting his trans husband from being executed. Watched a squirrel jump around in the tops of the trees behind my house. They make it look so easy but I am so scared of heights it made me a little queasy. Was visited by one of the two male cardinals who live around my house, the brighter of the two.

i got the rubber tip for the cane i'm making for myself! there's a few other minor aesthetic things to add but the hard work is done. i'm so pleased- from tree branch in my yard to pretty usable cane by my own hands. nice.

My milkweed I bought made l bare root is sending up new growth and it's so so beautiful. I'm growing other native flowers near them to attract and feed adult butterflies as well as milkweed for the caterpillars. It will probably be a full year before I notice a difference. So exciting
