In August 2025, I shopped in a Washington DC Smithsonian gift shop, made purchases, provided an e-mail address.
Later, I got e-mails from the Smithsonian Store. Delete delete. Finally I looked at one.
What's offered online is a VERY small subset of what was available in person. I wonder why.
