I am so lucky I get to WFH, as my workplace relocated it would take an insane amount of time walking and waiting at busy intersections once getting on and off my bus "near" work.
I do the exact same work regardless where I am but currently I get my life back and dress more comfortably too lol.

The remote work debate was funny because it forced the question "Is a job something valuable you do or is it a place you go to be watched like daycare" and the answer for a lot of them was yeah it's the daycare thing now come on inside recess is over

So yesterday was Australia Day and in turn the usual shenanigans however a blatant neo nazi group held their own protest and the amount of apologists on social media pissed me off and shows where even here how much shit has gone downhill.

It is nuts how the first TGV, well the prototype was actually a gas powered locomotive. The oil crisis of the time forced it to be electric which worked out a hell of a lot better.
Also France got high speed rail at the end of the 1970s, it is 2024 in Australia and still nothing!
