Even here in Canada, I was on the train and 2 old white dudes (capital city security guards, no less) were talking loudly about the ICE situation and how "the liberals" are idiots and ICE is just doing their job. I tell you, I almost got into a fight this morning (I didn't engage, because... Yeah)

If reading wasn't considered "lame" or "whatever" to entire generations of people, maybe more people would have read 1984 and MAYBE some of the dumb shit that's happening nowadays...may have been avoided...
