Thoughts on this layout? I'm trying to depict a facility (middle left) in a desert canyon. It's a bit tricky to fit all of it in the frame (it's surrounded by cliffs on all sides.)

there is a bit of white in there that is just me being lazy, the bottom half of the vase has a checkered pattern and I really didn't want to deal with it.

Some sort of spherical crystal - particles of a rare material change the gem structure, forming orbs that can be collected for the particles within.

Sorry if this is rude, but I noticed earlier today that fingers are made of straight lines except for bumps for the knuckles (and the inside of the fingers) and my hands look better now. Might also help you. Your colors are nice.

The sky earlier made think of this, so I drew it. It's evening on a different planet.

I would be inclined to push the siillouette further (I used a slightly different tone in a few places to give some separation) and in the background it makes more sense for the color variation to be in the clouds and not the sun.
If those are mountains they should be a slightly cooler color.
