BREAKING: Philadelphia workers have won the first Whole Foods union under Amazon with UFCW.

Since Amazon bought the chain, workers have lost benefits and felt the squeeze.

Now they're fighting back against the multi-trillion dollar giant and hoping this win will be the first of many.

Freezing scientific funding isn’t abstract. In medicine, life or death is often dictated by time. Temporary delays can cause great harm.
A friend of mine has skin cancer and was about to start a clinical trial at MD Anderson after his other treatments did not work. Trump's decision to temporarily halt funding for medical research also applies to clinical trials. His treatment is now canceled.

For instance, respondents who endorsed the idea that women should be thin or that women’s muscles were less attractive were less supportive of transgender athletes competing in alignment with their gender identity. Negative attitudes toward homosexuality were another powerful predictor of opposition to transgender athletes’ rights. Participants who expressed homophobic views, such as agreeing with statements like “I would be disappointed if I found out my child was homosexual,” were significantly more likely to support sex testing and oppose transgender inclusion.
