Also, I do adore that Hemsworth in this is basically just the Black Mirror equivalent of Thor. I’m glad he got to claim the right all Australians are assigned at birth (it’s written on the back of our birth certificates, where our Rights of a Citizen used to be): the right to be in a Mad Max film.

I know this is an unpopular Nancy Drew opinion, but I liked the Gil Bobbsey character and I would have liked to see him grow and change alongside Nancy. I think they had a lot to share with each other. Ace is great, but Gil was an agent of chaos and I bet that would have gone interesting places.

The only sticking point of Tremors (1990 through to infinity) is that I have too much sympathy for the worms. They’re just trying to find lunch, they can’t help that they’re giant worms 🤷♀️ Tonight, Spooky Month Day 25, it has been a long, tiring day - so I’m watching Tremors 2 (1996) 🥳 #filmsky

I love the V/H/S series because of how disjointed it feels and how real it looks. Much like emergency/disaster situations in real life, it takes a few seconds to realise what you’re seeing. They don’t give you much context, you either just keep up or you don’t. It’s really fun.

There are so many films that I adore the fashion in, but this kitschy butterfly-clip-vibes outfit on Parker Posey in Scream 3 is absolutely perfect.
