The email specifically says "email me individually if you can help bag food for the Thanksgiving drive next week" and my phone was going off all day with people being like "I will be busy, sorry!"

Like this has been happening nearly every month for over 15 years and it still takes me by complete surprise every single time

I somehow manage to go to Atlanta every year right during Comic Con 😅

Don't get me wrong, I love what I do. I think my work is very important. I know those clients need someone who cares about them on those days, & i'm glad to be that person

I will probably keep doing this for a while, but it's also hard that instead of seeing them get better, they just stop calling.
