If you're playing a deck that relies on getting stage 2's out, you can expect to often be behind on prizes, its why current decks like gardevoir and dragapult run heavy counts of counter catchers.

Honestly, for a 2 attack cost you probably don't even need to bother with mega lucario, there's a lot of ways to power it up fast (crispin, counter gain, Reversal energy). If you commit to a pure anhilape deck there's other anhilapes you can play with decent attacks for one energy as well

That might be a little janky, especially if you aren't playing any recovery cards. I think it's better to lean into a more supporter heavy build, by playing some more copies of research to churn through cards faster that way

Yeah, it not being poffin searchable makes it wayy worse than manaphy. Shaymins only going to see play if there's a busted spread deck in the format (right now the best post rotation spread deck is N's zoroark and that deck currently kinda sucks)

It is really silly that this card exists while a lot of evolving decks evolve into tera pokemon immune to bench damage. So decks like dragapult ex just get a slightly worse maanpy reprint

For the purpose of okidogi this does goes crazy as they can stack, and two of em will let you hit 230, which is a super relevant number for most basic ex's

It's going to be very hard to do worse than tag teams, you have to at least evolve these pokemon so they aren't doing anything silly on turn 1 like tag teams did

Yeah, nearly everything in that box except miraidon rotates, kinda sucks. But a playset of arven and boss is pretty nice!
