To clarify: “Infrastructure standards” refer to the ROW, power collection and loading gauge. Maybe Train Control Systems too, but not much else…

The funniest aspect of this whole debacle is how so many people think the “R” in “LRT” stands for “Rapid” as opposed to “Rail”.

From my experience: agencies don’t care about “mode” as long as the RFP requirements are met. Infrastructure standards have nothing to do with this.
