i started playing M&L: Brothership earlier this year and it got me interested in playing the rest of the series. i started learning more and more that anything that was slightly interesting in Brothership had already been done previously. Partners in Time in particular was a phenomenal game.

just pulled two Kitasans with only 30k karats! that along with the pity-pull and the crystal i've been saving puts her at level 45. i'm p sure i got pretty lucky, but i'm so glad to finally be able to use my friend slot on someone else

TTRPG Reminder: Allowing your players to direct the story may take you out of your comfort zone, but it will likely lead to the most rewarding storytelling and gameplay that you can find. Even if, at the end of the day, all they're doing is flooding a circus tent as a prank in exchange for a gun.

Super Mario World has an extremely eclectic art style whereby many enemies are drawn in completely different ways. Development files reveal Mario went through many stylistic changes; it is possible that all the enemies were made to fit Mario, but at different points in time.
