Our public health leaders lied to us when they told us it was a good thing to be infected with covid.

Why did they do this?

So we would put our kids back in school and get back to work.

The government of Canada clearly states that covid is spread in the air when people BREATHE.

So why aren't authorities cleaning the air and implementing protections so that people aren't continually breathing in contaminated air (school, work, etc.)?

Curious what you mean by "to build a light immunity"? i feel to completely erase my exposure to germs would be of no benefit to me, so light exposure (e.g. mask off walking through a mall/shop thats not rammed). I would like my immune system to still develop some resistance to bugs, so I worked off the idea of vaccines or homeopathy - tiny amount of regular exposure (During the summer when flu/covid/noro virus rates are lower)

I really enjoy wearing a n95 in public.

It doesn't make me feel awkward or uncomfortable at all.

Funding through the Novel Tools and Technologies Program will allow dozens of farmers to install protective equipment on their properties. “There’s about $30,000 for 75 egg and poultry producers to add things into their barns like HEPA filters, to install ultra-violet light systems, before we get to the point of having avian influenza coming to the province in September,” said Agriculture Minister Lana Popham, in an interview with CTV News. “It’s a really difficult disease to fight because it’s like having an invisible enemy,” Popham said.
