had the lovely experience today of attending a panel on the feasibility of a hydrogen-electricity powered aviation industry—at the wings club here in New York!

the biggest limiting factors of H power at scale are supply, safety/distribution, & the regulatory landscape… but it’s happening!

Needless to say we didn't fly today

Now that the project is over I can say that this was one of my favorite aircraft to fly. All electric and an absolute joy

Trying to focus more on my hobbies recently and it's kind of working? Been able to get a few more things painted and actually wrote close to 10k words between a script and that damn novel

This is gonna be a stupidly specific post but I flew an electric aircraft for the first time this summer and it absolutely has to be like what the first piston engine pilots felt like when they switched to jet engines. Wild experience
