Added the HBA card back into the NAS, with two spare 500 gig SSDs as a mirrored VDEV. Will do replication of the Protea pool (yes, named after a warframe) to see if the HBA checksum issues pop up again.

After some dabbling I have CouchDB running on the NAS (for now), so I can use it to sync my Obsidian vault between units.

September 20th, 2024. The gremlins arrived. Girl gremlin walked in like she owned the place, this was not ten minutes after she got out of the carrier.
