Somehow I thought that the "rent a chick" 2 week visit would be temporary and here we are, 2 days later, researching coops. IF you have time, can you recommend a decent starter chicken coop? We're in SC, so heat is more of a concern than killing winters.

The Carolina wrens are skittish, but the mystery sparrows are used to me existing behind the window and moving around a bit.

I'm turning after each round because I personally dislike the twist from crocheting in the round without turning.

I've also flared the body out a bit as I approach the hips to better fit my shape.

HDC slip stitch done in back loop only, chain 36, 32 rows (or more if needed to close around your wrist / hands easily), sew the sides together except for thumb hole. For thumb I decreased at start and end of each row until I had enough thumb coverage.
