Absolutely agree. It continues to perpetuate that "wheelchair/disabled" = bad, and "Abled" = good.
It's an outdated, offensive ideology that needs to get in the bin.

Thoughts on this article everyone? I totally get that everyone's views on their own situation are personal to them but this just seems to be steeped in ableism and I don't think the BBC should be perpetuating such views.

First post for me over here. Decided to sign up after becoming disillusioned with X & the direction it was heading under its current owner. I've met so many great people over there so not quite ready to leave altogether but hoping this will be a much more positive experience. Tell all your friends!
