Great, so, apparently, for blusky as well man breasts & that suggestively positioned spout to the merman of the #Wismar Wasserkunst (not my idea, but freely accessible at the museum, heck openly exhibited in the town square) are completely fine and can be savored without danger.

Remnant patterns with/of last year's self-made, plant-based colours. They've kept rather nicely. 🥑 🌿🌾🎨👁️

Yellow: mugwort (I like: 'bitter buttons')
Green: Reed blossoms
Brown: Alder cones
Cream: Hops
Deep Red: Avocado peel & core(Amazing hue, the phote didn't really catch it.)

Blimey, the illuminations in this manuscript are so beautiful! Also: Just the right kind of cheeky. Also also: Wouldn't say no to that backpack.

'Livre des échecs amoureux moralisés', 1496-1498; Author: Evrart de Conty; Illuminator: Robinet Testard.

Very saddened to hear of the passing of Vania Zouravliov in 2016.

He was a ridiculously talented and unique artist and it was an absolute privilege working with him on the Edgar Alan Poe print series, which will remain, forever, incomplete.

RIP Vania Zouravliov.

#NewberryLibrary's "Liber Exoticvs" is full of 1580s silhouette paper and a few VERY dry sayings! i-share-nby.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/permalink/01...

That aptly holds a special layer as bee-keeping is presented as Cromwell's idea of a dream retirement.

In the brief darkness of Hallowe’en the moon still shines brightly: like the sun, the inspiration of a host of altarpiece frames (called glories), and a modello for one of which (top right) is at the V&A.

I’m being so good and adding art to my website instead of ignoring it. So you could buy it and we could be in a win win win win situation. This time: squirrels for the squirrels gallery

If you could reskeet I’d be chuffed

OMG there's a whole sub-section for squirrels, which means I am practically obliged to go and start... hoarding. Clever girl.
