Saw Zootopia 2 this afternoon. Thought it was excellent. A very good follow up that (I think) rivals the original. #zootopia #zootopia2

Slightly stressful day at the office. I had to help the associate who is assigned to the former investment advisor that I supported with a donation of shares to two of his charitable endowment accounts (or at least guide them with what needed to happen). Good news is that the shares got donated,

Saw “The Bad Guys 2” in theatres again yesterday while on my road trip. It was just as great the second time around, also noticed a few background details that I didn’t necessarily notice on first viewing.

It’s ok to not be ok. It’s ok for life to feel like it’s too much. It’s ok to not be strong, and need to take a step back to find some ease and clarity in the dense fog of uncertainty. At the end of the day, doing our best is all we really can do. Sometimes it’s not enough, and that’s ok too

Another thing I enjoyed about "The Bad Guys 2", Daniel Pemberton's score. He added and expanded upon what he composed for the original film three years ago and I honestly think he's one of the best composers working today. Ocean's 8, both seasons of "The After Party", all seasons of "Slow Horses",

Saw “The Bad Guys 2” this afternoon. Loved it! I’m liking that Dreamworks is continuing with the stylized animation, makes it look like a comic book, which really suits these characters. The heist was something else and I’m liking where Wolf and Diane’s relationship is headed. #TheBadGuys2

Finally restocked my chocolate 🍫 stash at work, something a little different this time. Ended up buying it from a candy wholesaler on Vancouver Island instead of Amazon. Thought it better to buy from a Canadian business than the everything online store.

Saw the new Wes Anderson film, “The Phoenician Scheme” this afternoon. Thought it was good. Had the usual Wes Anderson aesthetic. Benicio Del Toro was fantastic.

Spent my Saturday afternoon taking my laptop apart to determine the cause of why the fan on the right was making rattling noise when it was running. Some sort of bearing in the fan has gone, but no matter, replacement fan is on order.
