I lost my job today on an excuse my boss made up to fire me. I now cannot pay for the medicine I need for my diabetes that I only just got diagnosed with. No income or insurance or anything anymore. I'm so fucked. I hate hate hate asking for help, but if you can spare, my cash,tag is $fish2drew

Today was my last shift where I worked in click & collect in online shopping, having already stopped driving the vans a few weeks ago. I'm transferring to a new role on the shop floor.
For now it means less hours and that my income will be halved for the foreseeable. But at least I'm still in a job

One thing that I should consider doing for the coming year is actually start working on a partial fursuit. I mean, I've already got the aptitude, right? But I'd need to find some good tutorials... 🤔

One of the smartest choices I made this year was join a trade union. Because earlier this month I was unfairly dismissed from my job at work. With the union's help I was able to get reinstated on appeal.
I won't be working as a driver for the supermarket any more but I'll get a new role elsewhere.
