I think it has to do with how the country name is supposed to be pronounced, so it is culturally considerate.
And it also distinguishes it from the plump feathery friend eaten at Christmas time!

Is that from the NESO app? I have that and currently says 63% UK power from wind, but I wasn't sure when it was last updated (is it every 24hrs?)

Oh yeah I recognise him now. I didn't make the connection at first but I've heard of him for some of the publicity he got around his documentaries.

The eyes always freaked me out as a kid.
Even now, characters with a distorted voice (layered) or different colour eyes always disturbs me in horror films!
