Also the legal aspect; if a travelling club points out a safety concern, Spurs hold firm, it kicks off and something awful happens to someone. Spurs are liable to them/ their families/ criminal negligence charges.

Is the argument that a deep lying playmaker is necessary in every team? Or necessary in _this_ team? If the latter, do we believe Frank said I need two sixes and was given a choice between BWM or DLP? Because by all accounts we're not going for a DLP.

I love Ange and I also staunchly believe our manager rotation has heavily contributed to the problem. But, I have lost faith that this is the guy.
Simply put, I struggle to believe today happens with a middle of the road PL manager. And I think that's true maybe 7 of the 17 times this season.

Feels so similar to the end of Conte where there was this constant stink of the despairingly inevitable in every game. We struggle so hard to believe we won't blow it. It's as if the biggest perpetuators of the Spursy vibe is our own fans, sometimes.

Not to mention the fans. You can feel it in the stands for 90 minutes; we're terrified of losing the ball; we're on edge when it's around our box... just constant tight sphincters and dread.
The players pick up on that, play safe passes, overthink decisions, panic in the box. Is a vicious cycle.
