Look at this incredible fairy castle. I reckon that's a bracket fungus (Ganoderma applanatum, the Artist’s fungus) but for me it's stairs and a balcony!

Feathers
Pigeon feathers with a morning dew on them. White fluffy feathers (that were removed from the pigeon by a sparrow hawk) all lying higgledy-piggledy on the grass. Drew drops are beaded over the feathers.

It’s wet and dark outside and I am cold, tired and grumpy. So I lit the fire, made a cup of tea and finished my beautiful jigsaw by @mooseallain.bsky.social and while it’s still dark and wet outside, I’m not nearly so grumpy.

Made my family come to a cemetery today to find fungus. Devil’s fingers. Very pleased with myself.

So glad I found this. I was worried I’d have to use approximate salt this morning.
