I'm not going to be able to think of anything but 1-2 line fixes for this "problem" of Bond dying in the last movie today, am I? Like literally just have a guy break in to a high security area and reveal M waiting inside, whose first line is "this is getting to be something of a habit with you, 007"

I was serious with the comparison to Batman. They've done the same thing as Bond since the 60s - different actors, nothing linked. Nobody cares.

Entertainment doesn't always need to be Deep. Continuity is not required for fun spy romps with gadgets and pretty men and women. 🤷‍♀️

hospital and try to bargain them down, how am I, an individual whose loved one has just suffered a catastrophic injury, gonna talk the hospital into charging me $5k instead? And if nobody has insurance, how many providers will demand proof of ability to pay before they’ll let you in the door?

The above hospital bill was for my partner’s 5-week ICU stay (her insurance company initially denied her claim as “medically unnecessary). An insurance company would negotiate much lower rates to pay the hospital, and pass along some of that as a copay. If I’d received this bill and had to call the
