We are looking for abstracts to the Southern Appalachian Weather and Climate Workshop to be held March 21-22, 2025, at UNC Asheville. If interested, submit your abstract at sites.google.com/view/sawcworkshop/submit-abstract. Abstracts are due December 15.

The coldest air of the season arrives this weekend into early next week. Highs in the 30s/40s, lows in the 10s/20s, with single digits possible in the mountains. A freeze will impact all, even the coast. A cold front Thanksgiving brings showers; windy, colder air follows. Stay warm! #ncwx
