Wrapped up the counting for the day, looks like (my guess) they got through 70%-80%. There will be counting tomorrow but not sure how long it will go. Niko and his team have done a tremendous job on this.

No sooner do I post that then a little huddle breaks out of officials and others

Another count stoppage, some of these seem to be for question and clarifications and some for objections. I can’t tell from here. So I may or may not have seen an objection yet.

This is the general flow and rhythm we’ve settled into now for counting

I'll be at the Board of Election Commissioners Meeting this evening to learn about the recount process and potential schedule

• Candidates have 10 days following the election to submit recount petition papers (Nov. 14th)
• Cost estimate for a hand recount: $106,600. For a machine recount: $14,100
November 12, 2025 at 2:44 PM
Are we going to get a recount for 6/7 on the Council? 23 votes out of over 9k for each seems within a recountable margin

Remember how Satya Mitra jumped into the top 6 late last night? Well I think I found out what happened. It was 1-2 where Mitra got 607 votes, the most of any At-Large Council Candidate. By contrast Kamara got 351, Colorio got 414, and Bergman got 489. Mitra ran up the score there
