Not an expert in this, but it’s my understanding that a recount can be triggered by a petition up to 10 days after an election. Sounds like there’s a little paperwork and (I think) signatures involved

Just talked to the Election Commission and they indicated it is likely going to happen with Jermoh

Are we going to get a recount for 6/7 on the Council? 23 votes out of over 9k for each seems within a recountable margin

The 22.43% turnout this year (2025) is the largest for a Municipal Election in Worcester since 23.1% of voters took part in the 2009 election, 16 years ago.

Remember how Satya Mitra jumped into the top 6 late last night? Well I think I found out what happened. It was 1-2 where Mitra got 607 votes, the most of any At-Large Council Candidate. By contrast Kamara got 351, Colorio got 414, and Bergman got 489. Mitra ran up the score there
