i loved reading abt the games, it as a delight! the tributes deaths are always upsetting to think about given the context of that whole world.. ampert was SOOO young and he died in such a violent way, i was shocked. and maysilee definitely impacts the whole saga in ways we werent aware at first

oh yeah i see what you mean. absolutely agree with that! we didnt get to experience the romance much and when we did it was burdened by sadness so not much to say about it

and the plot abt snow killing his loved ones and thus explaining why he becomes the person we know him as was quite obvious so it didnt hit for me. i mean obvious plot lines are not necessarily bad per se but idk i dont get how people were able to cry.. it sounds so insensitive to say this 😭

you're the first person i see comment on the romance. what do you mean exactly? personally i feel like we didnt get to know much of his mum, sid or lenore to FEEL their deaths. at most we feel saddened FOR haymitch but not bc we cared abt them imo.

i think it'd be more of a 3/3.5 tbh but bc it kept me entertained these last few days idm giving 4
