I thought the speed-up was the best part

Very story-light, more difficult than usual PMD outings mainly because it's short so the level curve is a bit odd. It's worth trying for fans of the genre looking for a quick one-off. I wrote a bit of a "what should I expect from this game" in the patch readme that has some more detailed thoughts :)

the highlight of the trip was eating at a restaurant I didn't even like because I was invested in the lore

Both Advance games also have better postgame, even though the main game of FFT is better. FFT has always felt like a game that has a very final endpoint which feels worse in a game where you invest so much time building your units
