the game doesn't let you name your units so I was stuck with a random pool of names. That was fine though because -both- the Idaho Crew mascots' names were somehow in the pool (Stuart and Loki)
Ridley the dragoon for obvious reasons and I just thought "Rooster" was funny so he stuck around.

Faris from FF5 and Balthier from FF12 are both pretty great. I like FF12's take as they're sky pirates instead, taking advantage of the whole airship thing, while FF5's are very much the traditional yo ho ho kind.

A habit I have with RPGs is I pump all my stat boosters and good equipment into my favorite guy and the rest of my party might as well not exist.
The problem is he's been a good boy and he deserves all those stat boosters and good Materia, Cloud's been moping the whole game he don't deserve them
