My lengthy initial thoughts on today's new hardware from Valve. Overall, there's a lot here that I'm quite impressed by, in terms of form factor. However, some of the internals of both the Machine and Frame leave me questioning certain cost-cutting choices.

You show me a new Half-Life next week and it's PC exclusive, I use my Black Friday funds on a new PC build so I can play it on my 4K OLED TV (or VR headset) and I become a PC gamer.

Nothing more frustrating to me about Riot Games than them having arguably some of the best damn music and art production in the industry right now, but they associate it all with some of the most boring video games ever made.
(Also, why the hell didn't Chrissy do a song for Arcane?)

I've been coding for nearly 3 hours tonight, just because I want to allow my players to move the damn game window while in windowed mode, and the position is constantly resetting... (I also still have a VRAM leak occurring somewhere unknown to me)

Folks, I'm planning on continuing my "one film per week" goal next year, and I've been waiting for this Black Friday so I can get a sub for Disney/Hulu.
