Many Democrats in Texas and DC don't seem to understand how leverage works. They also don't seem to understand that politics has radically changed now that SCOTUS allows trump to impound funding at will, shut down or no shut down.

We are in a second Gilded Age. We need a second Progressive Era in response if American democracy is to survive. Unionize everything. Collective bargaining at work places, apartments, debtors unions, and at every level of government. Organize.
