Episode 5 was a big improvement. Right balance of story lines and build up. Let's hope the re4st of the season keeps this pace.

Every attempt at cool bad guy dialogue from them can never escape the sins of this scene.

Saying that though, I don't think any adjustments to the pacing would help with how stretched thin the show is when trying to find time for the various groups stories.

The one unfortunate thing that sticks out to me is that the show seems to continue the problem modern trek has with actor enunciation and clarity of dialogue within the sound mix. #StarfleetAcademy

Made even more apparent when the excitement these execs had for season 2 never seems to materialize for a season 3 and the show is cancelled after only 20 episodes.

You know what, extend that to returning characters in new projects too. No one needs to see how time has ravaged beloved 90's sitcom actor. Make that new sequel show 4:3 in 480p as God intended.
