So, either they dig up the concrete floor in my porch, hallway and potentially kitchen to locate the leaking pipe or they can bypass it and re-route the gas upstairs to the boiler and I then have to forsake my gas cooker for an electric one.
Both expensive, but the latter sounds more appealing.

He showed me the likely path of the pipe. So, I'm praying it won't be too hard to find.
I can live without a new PC, but I'm gonna struggle without hot water.
