First we have a really gorgeous sample of Epidote from the Hakkari district of Turkey
A small pyramid shaped cluster of quartz is apparent on the 'underside' of the sample.
Approximately 4 inches across at the widest points.

A couple of shots from one of my runs on the Tail of the Dragon yesterday.
Started out this morning on a well needed vacation.
Going to be spending the next few days up at the Tail of the Dragon on the bike with some good people and good times.
I have about another hour and a half to go on a 5(ish) hour ride.
The roads up here in north Georgia are awesome!

And a side of box Mac and Cheese.

I had the most amazing steak in my life, a dry aged ribeye from Kevin Rathbun Steak in Atlanta.
Sides were roasted Jalapeno cream corn and the best damn mashed potatoes ever.
Dessert was a pecan praline bread pudding.
