Yeah, that's basically it. T_T we have rich people whose entire fortune comes from "investment properties" and ugh, they are the most unbearable turds. (including politicians with like 30+ "investment properties". Sigh.)

As an example, I was researching my family tree a few years ago and found that someone's house in Sydney had been valued at approx AU$70,000 in the early 1970s. I looked up current house prices in that same street and they were AU$1.5-2 million. I wish I was joking.

I'm afraid Australia is one of the worst countries in the world now for "let's make housing an investment thing". And it was done knowingly and we are all suffering. 😭

The original translation was *appalling* (full of arrogance, egos, and really bad writing) but it was incredibly satisfying to fix the complete shitshow they made of it. It's how I first got into games translation, too, so they did me a favour by being so crap. 😂
