During his presidency Wilson suffered a stroke and was incapacitated. His doctors and family went to great lengths to hide his condition. Mrs Wilson prevented people from seeing the president and for all intents and purposes ran the country. Just something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately.

I have never cut off friends for having conservative values. I am doing that to the ones that have turned out to be racist fascists.

This is something I’ve been thinking about that tracks with how the right wing outrage machine works. The hard part for boys is that the media ecosystem itself is fabricating the issue and *telling* boys “being a boy is hard because of those other people who don’t respect you.”
