Writer. Heritage interpreter. Always thinking just a little bit about dungeons and dragons. 30ish. they/them.
On one hand, it feels tremendously selfish to be ungrateful. On the other, that's the point. The point is that they trade money for the right to deny your autonomy.

ABiHT absolutely has horror and fucked up shit, I will also say.
It's got some wickerman folk horror stuff, some ghosts and ghoulies, some righteous revenge, disabled and trans rep, anti-capitalist rage, gratuitous pretty boy whump, and a two dicked merman who dirty talks like a fuckboy. 10/10.

Kellen Graves is my favorite, if I had to pick one. The first Rowan Blood book is a bit crunchy as a debut but the ongoing political intrigue fey fantasy series found it's feet quickly. Both their standalones are good and A Bone in His Teeth is easily among my top 3 favorite books period.

"Lucy is slut shamed" Lucy is surrounded by unselfish love and is never "seduced" by anyone. Violence is done to her and the men that love her, regardless of her ability to reciprocate, respect and love her to the point of giving of themselves to try and save her.

(In order: Remnants of Filth vol. 4 by Rou Bao Bu Chi Rou and Heaven Official's Blessing vol. 6 by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, both of which are absolute whump fests, and I'm mid To Clutch a Razor by Veronica Roth which is emotionally devastating in a very real way)
